Country home plans. The clean, simple lines of this country home plan are accented by false beam gables and Craftsman windows. Window-bright living/dining rooms are fully open to roomy kitchen. Master suite has two closets and a private bathroom.

No-frills Sandberg is small but comfy
   The Sandberg is a small, no-frills plan. It is equally well-suited to the needs of young families buying their first home, empty nesters wishing to minimize their maintenance chores, and singles who want to quit renting and settle into a place of their own.
   In this open, free-flowing floorplan, no walls separate the living room, dining room and kitchen. So the room feels more spacious than its modest 1300-plus square feet.
   Gathering spaces are bright. In the nook, natural light washes in through double windows with Craftsman-style multiple panes on their upper halves. Three similarly styled windows and two atrium doors span the rear wall of the living room and dining room. The master bedroom, master bath, and both secondary bedrooms all boast double windows, and the bedrooms have additional windows as well.
   The kitchen is designed for efficiency. Sink, refrigerator, built-in stove and dishwasher are all close together. The peninsular counter could be extended slightly and outfitted as an eating bar if desired. A pantry adds to the available storage space, and utilities are tucked behind double doors in the eating nook.
   A long walk-through closet connects the master bedroom to a private bath with oversized shower and built-in seat. This suite is well-isolated from the secondary bedrooms and main bathroom on the opposite side of the house.
   The Sandberg's long narrow attic stretches all the way from one end of the house to the other. It has windows at both ends and is accessed via a pull-down ladder located in the hallway that connects the secondary bedrooms.
