Country home plans. This country home plan has a nostalgic wrap-around porch that welcomes family and friends. There are three large gathering spaces, great for families who like to entertain. Hobby room/den can be open to family room, or totally enclosed.

Craigmont friendly, flexible
   A nostalgic wrap-around porch welcomes family and friends to the Craigmont. But that’s only about half of the outdoor living space. A patio at the rear is partially covered as well.
   This home is well-designed for families that like to entertain. It has three large gathering spaces: living room, dining room, and family room/kitchen.
   A railed staircase winds up the left side of the two-story foyer, just past the opening that leads into the living room. Pocket doors in this opening can be closed for privacy, when desired. Windowed on two sides, the naturally bright living room also features a gas fireplace.
   Main floor gathering spaces are designed with a circular traffic flow in mind. The living room opens into the dining room, which is linked to the kitchen. The kitchen is totally open to the family room, and can be reached directly via the foyer.
   This unusually large kitchen boasts two big work islands, one with a built-in cook top. The lowered granite counter left of the sink is ideal for kneading dough, rolling out pie or pizza crusts, or cutting out cookies.
   Pocket doors in the hobby room/den allow this area to be open to the family room, or totally enclosed. Laundry appliances and a deep sink hide behind one set of doors here. A bank of storage shelves is behind another set.
   Upstairs, the Craigmont’s master suite fills the left side, and three more bedrooms are on the right. Flames in the two-sided gas fireplace can be enjoyed from both the sleeping area and luxurious bathroom. Sun tubes provide additional daylight in the master bathroom, as well as both of the other upper bathrooms.
