Covered patios surround the Madrone
Homes with covered patios on all four sides are rare these days. The ranch-style Madrone is that rarity. It offers shaded outdoor living in summer, along with a dry environment for watching snow and raindrops fall in other seasons.
Inside, vaulted ceilings boost the sense of spaciousness throughout, soaring up from the front and sloping down toward the rear. The entry opens directly into a naturally bright living room with a woodstove.
Standing at the multi-angled sink and counter island, you face into the lofty and generously sized gathering spaces. Rimmed by a flush eating bar, the island is ideal for snacking, homework supervision, and chatting with friends and family.
A roomy walk-in pantry is nearby, off of the combo mud hall/utility room. This space accesses the wide patio at the rear, and has a deep sink, plus room for a freezer and second refrigerator.
Three large bedrooms face the street, and all have walk-in closets. The Madrone’s owners’ suite is largest, of course, and boasts a private bathroom.
